SP Leader Raj Narayan Bind Accuses BJP Government of PDA Community Oppression
A PDA Jan Panchayat in Barki village under Sevapuri Assembly saw SP leaders raise allegations of injustice and harassment against backward, Dalit and deprived communities under the BJP government.
Former minister and former MLA of the Samajwadi Party, Raj Narayan Bind, was the chief guest at the event. Addressing the gathering, Bind alleged that the PDA community had faced more injustice, atrocities and harassment under the BJP government than ever before.
He alleged that people from backward, Dalit and deprived communities were being implicated in false cases and that incidents of deaths in custody had also come to light. Bind claimed that these actions were part of a deliberate policy aimed at keeping members of the PDA community deprived of their rights.
He called on the PDA community to become aware of its rights and fight firmly for its rightful claims.
Samajwadi Party district president Sujit Yadav Lakkar said the Samajwadi Party was the only party capable of strongly advancing the fight for social justice, the Constitution and equal rights. He appealed to party workers to struggle for the rights of the PDA community and work to organise its members.
The programme was presided over by Assembly president Pakhndi Bind, while Amarnath Master conducted the proceedings.
Several other leaders also expressed their views at the event, including Rajesh Yadav, Mahendra Sonkar, Anoop Nat, Harishankar Bind, Aalah Bind, Bihari Bind, former village head, Pramod Yadav, Rambharos, Ganesh Bind, Jaishankar Bind, Santosh Bind, Kailash Bind, Aadhya Prasad, Rambali Bind, Revati Raman, Vinod Maurya and Rajesh Bind.
